GP Tour RC 1/5 Offroad 2023
It will be a 3 rounds GP-like challenge for all the standard 5th scale categories : 2WD, 4WD, SC.
We are actually working on securing the clubs that will host the 3 rounds, and we are trying to convenient locations for everyone.
The race week-end will follow a typical French national scheme, with practice & quals on saturdays and final rounds on sundays.
Romain Walter will be at the track from friday afternoon to advice on setups, maintenance, race line & driving, ...
An overall ranking will be made based on the 3 rounds, and winners are expected to get nice prizes.
Of course, we are also cooking some special treats with side "fun races" saturdays late afternoon, but you will know more in a bit only.
Some more pratical informations will be made available in the upcoming weeks including the partners supporting the events.

Free tryouts on Friday afternoon
Saturday morning free testing and reseeding before qualifying. Qualifying rounds with the top 3 consecutive laps for the general qualifying standings. Next a Super Pole will be made for the Top 5 drivers in each category.
Riders will go one by one on the track with 1 warm up lap and will have 3 laps to make the best time on a lap.
A sprint race will be Saturday afternoon with half the points distributed over Sunday's race.
No coming back this will be the A,B,C finals... 10 drivers in the final.
Sunday morning 1st practice before the Grand Finals start.
Each final will have the same running time. It will be on a set number of laps and not with a 30 minute timer.
Regulatory level it will be very flexible because we want the GP tour to be a moment of fun, friendly and with reduced budget cuts.
Here are the points that will be applied:
At the motorization level: 29cc in maximum 4wd, 26cc in maximum 2wd and 32cc in maximum SC, prepared engines are of course allowed.
Tires: to reduce blows and especially for everyone to be on the same equal foot, tires will be imposed, the durability of rubber will be imposed and the number of trains will be limited to maximum 2 trains for the weekend to limit budgets. Tires will be marked early in the weekend and checked after each lap.
For motorcycle regulations:
The race format will be identical to the car format. Just a few finals on Sunday because the duration in electrics is shorter for the finals.
Regulation level for the motorcycle, imposed original tires and controller set, original engine, for the options they will be free.
