EOS Daun 🇩🇪 wrapped up. 🥈 in 2WD and P4 in 4WD

EOS Daun 🇩🇪 wrapped up.

🥈 in 2WD and P4 in 4WD.
Both cars performed well this weekend and had a great time with the team. Happy to secure 2nd place in 2WD, but extremly disappointed to throw away the podium in 4WD due to mistakes in A3 after strong A1 and A2.

Now it’s time to head home and prepare for the next race. Congrats to @michal._orlowski on his double 🥇🥇this weekend and I hope you are happy with the cars I built for you🔥

Really happy to finish the weekend on a high note—3rd place in 4WD with my Team Associated #B84 and a Top 5 finish with the #B71

This was the first big event after switching electronics for the new season, and I’m really proud of what we’ve already found in just a few months of work.

The past two weeks were unforgettable, with Aydin flying out early to get some preparation done and enjoy some Jackie. It was awesome to have friend hanging out on daily basis and he definitely gave me a big boost moving forward from now on🫶

Last but not least, a huge thank you to the whole team for the hard work all weekend, my dad flying out to help me and to all the sponsors who make this possible. #WeAreAE

2 weeks and we are off to MKGP🇬🇧

EOS - Euro Offroad Series RD1 in Daun done and dusted!

EOS - Euro Offroad Series RD1 in Daun done and dusted!

Last day of the event was a day to remember. Doing a couple of changes on the 4wd which made it super fast and up for fight in the B-final!
After three finals I finished 2-2-1, which made me clinch 2nd in the B-final, and 13th overall. Of course disappointing to miss the A-final, but you can’t have everything go your way🤷‍♂️

Truck was the highlight of the day. Taking the overall win on tiebreaker after having 1-2 as best scores. My win in A2 was 0.6 seconds faster than Jörn’s win in A3, so it was really close! Thanks for the good battle!

A big thanks to Marcel Schneider for sharing his setup before the event, which made me be on pace from the get go. Without your help this wouldn’t have happened! After some tweaking on the setup, my #T7 aka “Silver Bullet” was awesome to drive!

In the end both my #TeamAssociated cars, powered by #Hobbywing and #PowerHD, equipped with option parts from #FactoryTeam, #RDRP and #Spectacleengineering was comfortable to drive and fast on the track!

Thanks to the whole Team Associated for the great teamwork and fun hangout during the event!

Thanks to Lindqvist Racing for the travel-company during the week!

Thanks to Michał Milan Milanowicz for the on track support from Hobbywing!

Thanks to all the people supporting me on track and from back home!

Next race - British Offorad Grand Prix at Milton Keynes in two weeks!💪🏼

Thanks to all my sponsors and to my dad for the support!

The 2026 Silver State Indoor Championships is complete

Post by Ryan Maifield 20d ago Event Reports for Silver State Indoor Championships 2026
The 2026 Silver State Indoor Championships is complete. Overall, a great weekend in the Tekno RC pits with Mike Truhe helping all weekend to keep the equipment running while I was competing in 4 classes. I was able to take the TQ in 1:8th Nitro truck, qualified 3rd in E-Truggy, 4th in E-Buggy, and 3rd in nitro buggy. It was not an easy weekend, everyone had their equipment on-point and ready to rip for our first event of the season. Fortunately, I was able to walk away with victories in both truck classes, but I settled for 4th in the buggy classes. Each main had its own twists and turns and ultimately I was in the position I wanted to be in and fell just a bit short in buggy.

The Nitro Truggy main started a bit slow for me but I was able to work into my rhythm and pull out a nice gap on the competition. Phi-Long and few drivers dropped out early allowing me to concentrate on cleaning up a few racing lines on the track and gain confidence while the others battled into position. I was able to take advantage and cruise in for victory with the ProTek RC Samurai RM.1 powered Tekno truggy. I went to JConcepts Inc blue compound Falcons in the 45 minute race and felt confident the entire main with that combination. Little to no wear found on the tires after the main.  Looking over the entire truck, it looks good enough to drop on the track again, it is definitely a sharp piece in the racing arsenal.

The E-Buggy main was one of the most exciting races of the weekend. One of about 4 or 5 of us could have won that main. In the end, it went to Phi-Long who was fast all weekend, he was TQ and made a bold move at the end that stuck for the victory. I think we all dished it out and we all took a bit too, that’s how racing goes and we all accept it. All of us discussed it with race officials and we all agreed on the finish. That was the best my Team Cayote USA powered buggy was working all weekend and I’m satisfied I was able to compete for the win. Congrats to Phi-Long on a great win, Mason Fuller 2nd, and Jared Wiggins in 3rd.

A Hail Mary attempt went my way in the E-Truggy main to get the victory at the finish line. As it was in the E-Buggy class, we all raced hard, pushed the limit and threw some elbows but this one went my way. Congratulations to Spencer Rivkin on 2nd and Ryan Lutz 3rd. The JConcepts Falcons in blue compound worked wonders again on the evolving track conditions. The Flysky RC radio did all the detail work necessary to keep me in control and when it mattered the most.

The nitro buggy main had the most difficult conditions of any of our A-Mains. The choppy sections were back, actual holes developed, and landing areas started to disappear. After the A-Main warmup, I felt good about the Tekno NB48 2.2. Truhe and I left the setup alone utilized broken-in tires and went locked and loaded for the main. The start went well, I had a great place to work with and the pack was racing well together. I lost the car a few times in holes but everyone had their fair share of problem areas and we took turns in the lead.

I had an incident at the top left side of the track that cost a lot of time. After that, I felt it slipping away a bit and tried to drive my way back into it. When the track has gnarly conditions, it’s usually hard to make up for lost time without sacrificing more lost time. In my case, I went a bit backward and fell off the podium and finished 4th. If I had a do over, perhaps we make a few different changes for an even more difficult condition than the A-Main warmup. Congratulations to Mason Fuller who drove his way up into the lead and claimed a great victory. Nice run to Spencer Rivkin on finishing 2nd and Seth VanDalen coming up to finish 3rd.

As always, thanks to Joey and The Dirt track crew along with South Point Casino on another great event. Anthony Westergaard together with The Dirt created a fun and super challenging track. Thanks to Kenny Brosh and Jimmy Babcock on the race direction and announcing. Also, a shout out to LiveRC.com on getting us live for the weekend. Thanks to the JConcepts team with Jason, Allison, Paul, Hannah, and Lia on the great team support and coverage.

Next event, the TNR event in Norco, California.

5 MOMENTS OF 2025

Post by Action RC 34d ago Blogs
There has been so much incredible racing in 2025, and I've been privileged to stand trackside and watch a whole heap of it. Rather than recap a year's worth of events, I want to pick out five key moments from 2025 that share some of the elements I love in R/C.

1️⃣ The first I'm thinking of came in the closing laps of an EP Buggy final at the Philippine Masters. Pekko Iivonnen was leading, Davide Ongaro chasing. More than 1 million people have seen what happened next: Ongaro threw an outrageous pass attempt through the front rhythm section, Iivonnen saw it coming, waited just slightly and then turned back inside Davide who was unable to get his buggy stopped at the  apex.

2️⃣ That sequence was repeated almost exactly on the final lap of A2 at the 4wd World Champs six months later, Ongaro again jumping long with an attempt to this time ambush Marcus Kaerup and send the World Champs to a decider. Kaerup, just as Iivonnen had, waited a heart beat, then turned inside an ever so slightly deep Ongaro to regain the lead, and set sail for the Championship.

3️⃣ At Pine Hills Dirt Racing, for Round 3 of the Asian Buggy Championship, second qualifier Kouki Kato tangled on lap one of the final, dropping him to the rear of the field. Within 12 minutes he had driven back to within striking distance of the lead, only for rain to intervene and cut the event short. It was a brilliant display of speed and passing, precision, and determination. We will forever wonder how his battle with Alex Bernadzik would have shaped up.

4️⃣ Earlier in the ABC series, this time in New Zealand, Australia's Jayden Edmunds was leading deep in the Nitro Buggy final, with Caleb Noble hunting him and one pitstop to complete. Edmunds' father Dave completed a perfect stop, Jayden returning and holding the lead around the outside of turn 1 by mere inches as Noble threw one final attack. That pitstop, exit, and outside line would be decisive, Edmunds going to his first international win.

5️⃣ And that reminds me of Broc Champlin vs Davey Batta down the front straight on the final lap of 2wd A1 at the World Champs. It came after Champlin and Kaerup tangled in the rhythm section, Batta seeing his chance to strike from third and coming within millimetres of driving around the outside of Champlin on the long curving front "straight" at Hills. Champlin somehow willed a tiny bit more speed from his car, and dared to brake later, holding the lead that would ultimately set him to be crowned World Champion, for the first time, later that afternoon.

In those five stories, and a thousand more (Hara vs Cooke at the Vintage Bash for example?), are so many of the things I love.

Ferocious competitiveness, sheer determination, intelligence under maximum pressure, inch-perfect judgement, daring to risk everything, first-time champions...and more.

R/C racing is awesome, and 2025 gave plenty of reasons why.

How about for you? Is there a favourite moment on or off track as we consign 2025 to the history books?

I said earlier I was privileged to see a bunch of racing this year, and I meant it. What joy it is to have watched on and shared some of the stories of this thing we call R/C.

Let's do it again in 2026.

Hudy Series Sweden- Race Rapport

Post by Johan Alminger 45d ago Event Reports for Hudy Series Sweden
