Technical Regulations:

Batteries:

  • Any hard case Li Po battery pack which is available in hobby shops is allowed.
  • The LiPo must be charged in a charging bag.
  • Max. Battery voltage: 8.44 Volts (except Modified Class)
  • Max. Charging current: 20 Amps (random check will be carried out)
  • Max. Discharging current: 30 Amps (random check will be carried out)

lf a driver comes to technical inspection with 8.45 volts or more the driver have to discharge the battery down to 8.44 volts by accelerating and braking the car while holding it in his hands until the battery voltage is down to 8.44V.

Electronics

The use of a Gyro or other electronic driving aids are strictly forbidden. It is only allowed to use the following electronics in the car: motor, speed controller, servo, receiver, transponder, LiPo battery, motor cooling fan and BEC capacitators.

For Super GT class, shortening of wires is allowed but only items included in the box (from both motor and esc) is allowed to be used apart from sensor wires is allowed to be changed.

For FWD class, only Handout motor is allowed to be use, timing is allowed to be changed.

Tire rules

Removal of the center rubber mold line on the tire surface is allowed. Racers are allowed gluing up the sidewalls of the tires to prevent cars from traction rolling. Use of tires warmers is allowed for all classes.

Racers are allowed to clean the tires with the brake cleaner and the tire additive. The only additive which is allowed to use is the additive which is provided from ESIC 2025 that are on the tire additive tables during event days and additives bottles are not allowed on racers’ pit table once event start even if they are the same addictive as handed out, best qualifying run will be deleted if racers found to have breach of addictive regulation.

For qualifying and finals, only ESIC2025 marked handout tires are allowed.

Technical inspection

The technical inspection checks that all cars comply with the ESIC2025 rules before every heat (seeding, qualifying and finals). The technical inspection will ALWAYS check these things:

  • Correct battery voltage (not applicable to Modified Class)
  • Minimum weight
  • Wing Cutline
  • Tagged No. on tires to match driver (mixing of tires is allowed but only within drivers’ own allowed sets)

Post inspection

  • Random check on blinky mode (for FWD and Super GT class)

BODY SHELL GUIDELINE

For Modified & 13.5T Open Brushless Class

Only 190mm 4-door commercially available saloon bodies are allowed. All bodyshells must have lights and grill (front), and they must be painted (from inside). It is not allowed to race with a body that has no front lights and grill (stickers or painted)!

Only Lexan rear wings are allowed, and the winglets can be made from Lexan or a thin carbon fiber material without any sharp edges. The wing MUST be cut at the lowest marked cutline. If you like you can cut more. It is not allowed to leave the wing bigger than the lower cutting line. It is also not allowed to use any kind of shims between the wing and the wing mount surface to increase the wing height.  A minimum roof height will not be checked at the technical inspection.

For 17.5T FWD & Super GT Class

Any FWD / Super GT Body shells which are available on the market are ALLOWED. Only wing that comes together with the bodyshell can be used, option wings meant for the bodyshell can be used, NO home-made wings allowed.

Important

If we see anybody breaking the rules by racing with the wrong set of tires, with a wrong body shell, or any of the technical regulations, we will delete the best qualifying or final run.

Every driver is responsible for using the equipment according to the rules of the racing class. Excuses like: “I didn`t know”, or like “I just took the wrong body shell from my bag” are not acceptable for us as there is enough time for everybody (on Thursday) to make sure that everything is set up according to the rules!
