Tebo’s 2022 Nats report

Page/Article by Jared Tebo 3y ago Event Reports
2022 ROAR Fuel Off-Road 1/8 National is complete. Not the Sunday I expected or wanted, P3 in Nitro Truggy, and P6 after winning the odd semi and starting P5 in Nitro Buggy. In Truggy, I had good speed, if you look at the lap times, I could have battled Phend for the win. A couple mistakes on my driving took that opportunity away and I finished 3rd. In Buggy, my car felt amazing to drive in the semi, fast and comfortable. Again, some mistakes on my part in the final. I was in the fight for 3rd for a long while, but then lost touch and came home P6, which was very disappointing if I’m honest.

Gonna take the positives, I had good speed, TQed 3 rounds in qualifying, qualified P2 in both classes. Need to get the mains figured out and get better finishing results. Thanks to Graham Hill for busting his butt to help me, and just being a great friend! My family for their endless support and my wife for all her sacrifices while I’m traveling. Everyone at Tekno RC , all my sponsors, supporters, amazing fans, and the good lord Jesus Christ for this great career and opportunity.

Congrats to Dakotah Phend on his dominating weekend, you deserve it dude, it was fun battling 🤘🏼 #RCCARS #RaceToWin #Blessed
