What a week of racing!

EC A 1/8 IC OFF ROAD BARCELOS 2022
My LRP GmbH powered Associated RC8B4 from Hobbyfactory Oy with Hotrace Tyres Factory rubber was on point whole week. My pace was good straight from the first practise round.
I managed to seed in the best seeding group. In qualifying I was consistant and finishing 10th twice and 14th put me 7th to the Semifinal B. In the Semifinal I had good battles and I managed to finish 5th which put me 11th on the grid for my first ever main final in 1/8 offroad euros!
In the main final I was fightng for position 7 but I ran out fuel because the temperature dropped a littlebit which made my engine go rich. But even with the flameout I finished 10th.
My goal for this race was that I would be straight in the quarters but I exceeded it quite well. This was just incredible. Huge thanks to whole Finnish team making the trip much funnier and Team Heinonen and Hobbyfactory for making this possible. And my mechanic Aki for making fast pitstops.
