Final rounds of RCGP done and dusted for 2022 at Badlands Rc Supercross in South Carolina, USA!
What a weekend with many ups and downs!
Started of with a delayed Friday practice because of a lot of rain in the night and a wet track!
The Rush I had a bit of bad luck…and a few mistakes from my side! Ended up P8.
Saturday was better weather and time for the two 15 minutes sprint finals! First one was good ended up P6 after close fights and a packed midfield! Second one I got stuck on a pipe and the engine flamed was around 6-7th position at the time but ended….P12… and both finals are counting so ended up 9th in round 7.
Sunday, Was time for the 58min+2 laps endurance final! Started P9 after a tight qualifying with good pace but a few mistakes to much and tight in points. Got stuck in the first corner with like five other cars that crashed in front. After that was just to work my way up the field and finished in a P5 in round 8!
With this up and down weekend and the results I got. I will end up 3rd in the total in the drivers championship in RCGP World Series 2022 and a 2nd in the Constructors Championship after good team work with David!
Thanks to the RCGP crew for a good year with good races! And Mayako for letting me drive for the factory team the whole season!
This was the last race this year with the 1:8th and now the indoor season will start! Nationals next week in 2wd and 4wd and the week after Nationals in TC as well! Let’s go!
Thanks to my sponsors!!
