Florida Carpet Championship 2022
Had a lot of fun running on carpet again at one of the best carpet facilities in the country. Was struggling with allergies after coming off of AMS but was excited to see the controlled practice so we weren’t having to rush around all day. I felt like we made some good progress with the 4wd setup and it showed in qualifying with good speed and consistency. I was able to tq both classes and avoid the super poles which are always a blast to watch. On Sunday my 2wd buggy really came alive and we were able to make it happen in the first 2 mains. In 4wd I had some great battles but a couple mistakes on my part in A2 and A3 dropped me to third overall. I really wanted to be able to defend my overall title but Orlowski drove great and made it happen. Ready to head to Cleveland next week and get back out on the rug! Enjoying some time with family this week and taking a nice little break. Thanks to everyone for all the support over the weekend.
