Back home from the NXC race in Denmark!
Today we had very shifting weather with sunshine - heavy rain - sunshine - light rain plus very strong wind all day. Kudos to the Hilleröd RC Club for the hard work with quickly reacting to weather and changing schedule on the go so we could do our mains. Always enjoying racing here and looking forward to be a part of it in 2024, hope to see more international top guys join the event like Ricky Berton did this weekend👌🏼
In the end we drove a wet semi where I changed the car a little for this condition, it was a great call and everything went as planned and I would line up 1st for the main. Between the semi and main we had around 2h gap, I was debating wheather to change my car back to dry setup or not and as heavy clouds were hanging in the sky around us, I decided not to. Track was a little wet still as we were starting the main and everything felt good! The track dried up quicker than I thought and got 2 seconds faster than what we did in the semi so the setup was a little nervous after first pit stop as the grip increased A LOT.
Me and Hampus drove well and pulled a pretty big gap to the others. He would lead the main with me chasing behind for 40 min or so. All the time within 5 seconds snd it was close. In the end I had a few more rough laps than him trying to catch him and ended up in 2nd some 12 seconds back. We both were on another level this week and Hampus drove very well in the main to take the win! Great job my friend👏🏻👏🏻
Overall it was a great weekend where I felt very fast and comfortable, just made a setup error on my side for the main and that was unfortunate. All in all I’m super happy with my speed and package.
My Mayako MX8 was awesome and I had a great feeling with it, our hard work is starting to pay off! 🏎️💨
The Corsatec CTN7 was giving me plenty of speed and runtime all weekend and stayed consistent through the ever changing weather conditions with fuel from Energy😮💨
Both me and Hampus were on the Black Hole from Matrix in Clay compound all weekend and they were just amazing out there! Great grip and tire wear, we could have gone another hour on the same tire after the main without issue🔥
Hitec HSB-9381TH servos on steering and throttle made it possible for me to navigate through this tricky and challenging track! Great power and reliability, running smooth all weekend🤘🏼
Tworks with all the bling in the car making it look amazing but also contributing to the feeling out on the track! All the TI stuff with top notch quality and shaving some weight off the car!😎
Thanks to all my sponsors for the support and once again congrats to Hampus on a flawless drive, onto the next one💪🏼
