A great weekend at AMS 14.0 is complete. As always, thanks to the Racetime Management team and all the support from friends, family, and racing sponsors. It was a tough weekend, top competition on hand, and a lot of track time to continue working to improve. Dakotah, and Juan Carlos Canas were flying all weekend and it took a lot of effort in the pits with Mike Truhe and talking tires with Paul Wynn and JConcepts to get it right. In the end, I was able to finish 2nd in the 1/8th Pro truck class and get the win in the 1/8th Pro buggy class.

It was nice to be quick, consistent, and durable enough to go the distance in both mains. It’s a demanding track, the Samurai RM engines were running well in the Alabama temperatures and kept us in the races. The Tekno vehicles felt good on the quick and all-out style pace we needed to run at. With JConcepts in support, we went through the different compounds for changing conditions and always had the speed when we needed it the most.

It felt good to get a great win under by belt with the FlySky radio. I would say more and more drivers come over to my pit each race to get a feel for the radio. It’s been a nice addition to the program. I look forward to getting more time on it, trying more things and increasing my comfort even more.

The E-Buggy class got away from me this weekend. Qualifying didn’t go that well, the Super Pole wasn’t anything special
either. I had a rough couple of mains before things came together for a 3rd in the final A3 main to finish 7th overall. Some adjustments to the Hobbywing power can make all the difference and I got things to my liking near the end for a respectable last run of the weekend.
