Well, mains day did not go exactly how I was hoping, but that is racing! I’ll start off by saying we are still not sure what happened to the car in A3. It all felt perfect in the warmups and then on the start I had no power. The ESC was still on in post race tech and everything worked fine after turning the car off and back on! Thank you everyone for all the messages and support throughout the week!

Overall I am still extremely happy/surprised with how the week went. I was able to put in the quickest run of the weekend in Q6 to win the tiebreaker and take the overall TQ. I’m also happy with my A1 drive to hold off Marc and take the first A main win. A2 I went a little wide into the first corner and got collected in the second corner but such is racing! And then A3 I never got a chance to compete for the overall win. A little disappointed I couldn’t try for the overall win but there will be plenty more opportunities for me in the future!

Congrats to Michal for his first world title! It sucks that my unfortunate luck ruined A3 for both me and Marc Rheinard. I know it would’ve been a great race!

Awesome job Max Mächler - RC Motorsport for taking the win in the 13.5 class. This brought home the first World title for both Awes Omatix and Team EAM, Inc! It has been a great 3 weeks of racing and hanging out, hope to see you again soon!

Also shoutout to Stuart Mason for putting it 6th on the grid in mod after showing up a day late and missing some vital practice time. Keep at it and you’ll be right there in the mix at every race.

Thanks to John Dickson for helping me get my sauce program dialed in. It really brought the car around for the last 3 rounds of qualifying and allowed me to TQ. Thank you Sam Isaacs also for the setup help and fun in the pits all week. You had some bad luck this week too, I’m sure you’ll be back at the top in the next one!

I’m proud I was able to represent the US on the biggest scale of RC and race amongst some of the legends of RC that I have watched on video since I started racing a short 5.5 years ago. I never would have thought I could be competitive with them.

This wouldn’t be possible without all of my sponsors’ continuous support!
