I drove a great semi final, a few smaller mistakes but we were up front for most part fighting with Canas for the win. In the end I got 2nd after the 20min Semi, just behind JCC. We were in the first semi and had a much slower track than Semi B, so unfortunately we had to start 4th and 5th for the A-main🙄

Main time, I decided to keep the car same as in the Semi. I trusted that the track conditions were closer to what we had in Q4, everything felt great in the warmup and the start. Got myself by Jonny for 4th place and followed the top 3 closely. Unfortunately on lap 5 Davide had a mistake on the top right going around the tree, I couldn’t see his car from where I was standing and I hit him full throttle. Nothing he could do it was just very unlucky, both cars survived but obviously we both dropped all the way to the back of the pack.

Had to put my head down and try to get back after loosing so much time in that crash and even more when having to go through the field. One of the drivers I was fighting with lost his mind and hit me twice after passing him again and again. This is where I lost everything, the momentum and at that point I was more or less a lap back already..

It was really frustrating to have my race ruined like this😓

Overall I’m very happy with the speed and how my package performed. The three up front were having an amazing fight and it would have been fun to see what could have been done as I was feeling very strong in the Semi fighting close with Canas.

My equipment was amazing all weekend and it’s been fun learning the new car with the team. Everyone have been working very well together and I’m really happy to be a part of this! Thanks everyone, onto the next one👊🏼
