The game plan was to stay consistent through the finals, from previous experience I had seen that the most consistent drive delivered good results at this race with the track the way it gets.

In the truggy main I just tried to stay out of trouble as much as possible at the start, then I started to make up as many places as possible but unfortunately by the time I made my up into the top 3 the top 2 guys had already got away. I was still extremely happy to come away with a podium after bumping up from a crazy B final.

In the Nitro buggy final starting on pole the most important thing was to stay clean for the first 5 minutes then see where we would be. I was able to make a gap early on to 2nd then for the whole final it was a cat & mouse game with David Ronnefalk. He kept me honest the whole final and I knew that a mistake would put me right in the grasp of David. After an intense 45min final on a brutal track we came home with the win, it’s still hard to believe but we did it. Huge shout out to David and Dakotah for the podium.

I want to thank Luigi Simeoni for his help for the hard work all week & the preparation before the race. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. Also to Marco Rossi for his help in the pits & making sure my REDS RACING power house was singing all week.

I want to congratulate the whole SWORKz RC team who had the most cars in the final, an incredible showing in a staked field. And thanks to everyone in the Sworkz pits, the vibe in the pits was amazing and I’m looking forward to next one with you all.
