Just got back to Europe after my 3rd trip to the states this year! 🇺🇸

Dad and I flew into Las Vegas to attend my first indoor edition of the event. In the past I’ve been to a couple of the outdoor races they held at RC Tracks of Las Vegas, but this was my first time at South Point Hotel & Casino.

Huge entry list this year meant long days at the track but with it being in the Casino it was a cool experience and overall a great event put on by Joey and The Dirt crew. I thought the layout was cool, and with it being fairly easy through the first two qualifiers it was very close on times between drivers. In the 3rd qualifying round as well as in the mains it got much more challenging with all the bumps developing, we had to pick our lines with care but still trying to go fast! I loved it👌🏼

I didn’t have a great performance in E-buggy and Nitro truggy in qualifying finishing 13th and 16th respectively.
Nitro buggy was a lot better after using the experience of setup from E-Buggy the day before, I would end up 6th after qualifying and we were right there in all three qualifiers.

The first main day was a nightmare… Starting out with Nitro Truck I lined up 2nd in the B and I felt I had a good opportunity to grab one of the two bump ups. My race was over in the second corner where I was taken out and left dead last on lap 1, and after loosing more time trying to get back up I didn’t make the bump in the end.
Moving into E-buggy I didn’t have much to loose starting 13th, and after making some passes early on finding myself in top 7-8 I made a small mistake dropping two places before getting taken out by the same guy that took me out in the B main of Nitro Truck. This followed by me somehow getting stuck in one of the sand bags holding the pipes down as well and I lost so much time. That was the end of first main day….😒

I tried putting it behind me and focused on the Nitro Buggy main the next day. I knew my XB8 was working very well so I just needed to stay clean in the start and I would be able to fight for the top spots from there.
The main started and it seems like some drivers just believe they can drive through you and not giving any respect at all, you guessed it right - once again I got taken out from the guy behind after two corners.. The whole pack came and ran my car over and once again I went from 6th to 16th on lap 1. It was a big mess there and I was half a lap back after 1 lap not kidding… 🤬

That’s three out of three classes getting taken out in the mains. You sit there for days trying to nail the setup for your cars, you spend so much money and time just for some people to completely ruin your races after less than 10sec into the show. It’s really dissapointing to say the least, it’s f***ing frustrating….

My car was awesome in the main, times showed that and I have to be pleased with the progress we made during the week. We gave it everything but it was just a tough one from start to finish this time.

Now I can’t wait to come back to race in Europe again!
Thanks to all my sponsors for your support through thick and thin💪🏼

Special thanks to Nicola & Hotrace for helping out this weekend as well👌🏼
