NXC Grand Prix always seems to deliver everything I love about RC racing πβοΈ
To perform well at this event, you need to push yourself harder and harder πͺπΎπ₯

The highlight of my race weekend was definitely the E-buggy. I had created a rocket and was in full sync, allowing me to push relentlessly π I started P4 in the A-main, behind Marcus, Ronnefalk, and Hampus βa tough group of drivers. I managed to take P3 in A1 and P4 in A2, which meant the podium was within reach if I could beat Hampus in A3.
In A3, I got up to P2 after the first lap and held it for a long time while Hampus was chasing me down. During the last couple of laps, Hampus and I battled it out. On the final lap, he overtook me on the inside with a great move. Knowing I had to go all out, I went full send on the six-pack jump to the finish line, narrowly clinching P2 by 0.1-0.2 seconds. Unfortunately, I cut the corner too much during the jump, so P2 was given back to Hampusβfair and square π― It was a fantastic show and so much fun, even though I came up just short π

Nitro Buggy was a mess π¬ I started P12 in the A-main after a poor performance in the semi. Although it was a good position to move up, I had a flameout on lap 6, losing a lot of time. I managed to fight back and finished P9 after the 45-minute main. It was a bit disappointing, but that's racing for you!
Great to see 6, XRAY XB8 β24 in the A-main and 5 FX Engines ππͺπΎ
Huge thanks to the XRAY camp for their support and good times, and to Lene and Claus Ryeskov for ensuring we had absolutely everything, including βKoldskΓ₯l.β
Thanks to Patrick for taking the time to pit! Still the fastest pitman in the field π
And to all the volunteers from the club, I send all my love βthis event wouldn't have been possible without you! π«ΆπΎ
Now it's time to prep for the B-EUROS in Spain, Sax!
