The Swedish National Championship is finished!

Car was good from the first practice on Friday. The setup got better and better through all the practice rounds and I only got more and more confident with my driving on the big track in Eskilstuna.

On Saturdays it was time for qualifying, where I ended up 4th after a TQ run in Q4!

On Sunday it was time for the finals, but got delayed 4 hours because of bad weather. At last it was dry enough and I started 2nd in Semi-B and managed to keep that position through out the whole time.

I started 4th on the grid in the 45 minute main, thought I was 3rd on the grid but it got changed because the track condition was different between the semis. First lap was a nightmare. Got hit from behind after four turns and ended upside down, which made me come out 11th, and losing about ten seconds… But I didn’t give up and worked my way up in the field, having some nice and fun battles. At the end I finished 4th, but I surely had the pace for the podium if I didn’t lose that 10 seconds on the first lap😒

My #B4.1 was amazing in the main, being both fast and comfortable to drive. I didn’t do one major mistake during the whole main, if we don’t count the first lap incident.

I want to thank Mikael Svensson for helping me and my dad with lots of setup tips, it really helped, especially when we aren’t 100% familiar with 1:8th scale.

I also want to thank Klas Bredberg for letting me and my dad into his camping van and staying there over the weekend, and for the great company!

Nice to meet everyone at the track and having some fun😁

Thanks to my sponsors and my dad for the support!
