It was great to go race in Sweden once again for the first time since the Euros in Eskilstuna. The track was really amazing so I am kind of already looking forwards to go back!

I went into the event with an open mind to try to have fun as I had no time to prepare beforehand. I started on the back foot already missing the open practice day and then having to skip the first few rounds on friday. That being said I was right on pace already at the end of Friday and was just looking for a bit of comfort in the car.

On saturday I kept making silly mistakes during qualifying and the grip coming up after the rain I had still a bit more to find in the car. I managed a decent result in the last round taking the TQ in ebuggy and finishing 5th in Nitro even with a mistake.

On sunday we really rushed the schedule to get as much ran before the rain came. I struggled with the ebuggy a bit and even though I was probably a bit faster than Mathias he drove incredibly well and managed to take second. Hampus was unbeatable in pace in the Electric class so a well deserved win. I took 3rd and I’ll go home happy with that.

In nitro we unfortunately only got to run the semis before the rain came. I was starting 4th in Semi A and got up to 3rd behind the Berg brothers for a while after a really tough start. Unfortunately I had my tires come unglued during the run so I had to just try and bring it home. I dropped down to 5th in the end and 9th overall. Definitely not a good result but realistically I had no shot for the win so I will take it as a learning experience.

I had a lot of fun and met a bunch of great people. This is what the Nordics are about and I took as much advantage of that as I could even with the insanely busy schedule running 2 classes without a mechanic… 😅
