The trip to RC Redovan and the 2024 IFMAR Worlds is complete
The trip to RC Redovan and the 2024 IFMAR Worlds is complete. I wish I could say I’m happy with my results, but, it’s not what I was looking for. The team was there, and Mike Truhe and I worked hard all week with Tekno RC and JConcepts to increase pace and find something. I never gave up on the goal of making the finals to compete in my 8th 1:8th Worlds A-Final, but, fell short in the semi-finals and ultimately the last chance qualifier. For now, we stand on 7 A-final appearances. Hopefully, in 2026, we get back on track and in the hunt for the title once again.

The Tekno team had a lot of representation this time around, and some drivers putting in fine runs all weekend. Congrats to Joao Figueriedo on his A-Final performance. Thanks to Daniel Lewis, Matt Wolter, and Dany Fernandez on a well organized week and team camaraderie.

Congratulations to Davide Ongaro on a well deserved victory. What a drive and racing career thus far. Also, congrats to my buddy Elliott Boots on 2nd overall, and JConcepts team mate Juan Carlos Canas on TQ, and 3rd place.

Overall, I spent the week with my extended RC family, we tried to bring that USA vibe to our stay and pits throughout the week. Thanks to all for the support at home, at the races, and in the pits.
