Man what a race it was and back home with really up and down feelings. Coming onto the race, goal was to improve from last time and make it straight to 1/4 finals. Goal was achieved even with some bad driving on my side in qualifying. Speed was right there to be in semis but still was very happy to make quarters. Great run in 1/4 meant bumping up to worlds semis! I thought like that’s it I MADE THE WORLDS SEMI!! Poor driving in semi put me in 5th place in last chance final. Everything started out better than expected and was leading the final coming into last lap. I had this thought on my mind that I’ve got this so let’s just finish the lap and get into the main final. But then it all went sideways on one of the jumps in the back and made critical mistake and lost my lead and finished 2nd in the final. For me it was very very emotional situation because I never even thought I could have this good shot for nitro worlds main. I should be happy with the result but it could have been way better outcome than this. Positives from the race is that I showed people that I can be competetive also in 1/8 nitro not just 1/10.  Super Davide Ongaro congrats on the 4th one🏆🏆🏆🏆
