Back home from an amazing trip to Redován
Back home from an amazing trip to Redován Spain for the #2024IFMARWorldChamps hosted by the amazing RC-Redován! Coming into it I felt really good after multiple practice days at Thornhill Racing Circuit getting my S35-4Evo all dialed in.
The first few days it was clear we were way off on the setup and in every round of practice seeding and quals we made some changes and the car got faster and faster! Ended up qualifying 3rd for my quarter-final!
The quarter ended up going great with me grabbing the lead early and holding onto it until the end moving me into the Semi’s! In the Semi I got caught up in the lap one chaos and got sent straight to the back. In this field, the starts are so important and it was tough to make up ground but got back up to P7 just out of a direct transfer to the main. Last up was the LCQ and we started P2. Got into the lead turn one and nailed the tube in turn 2 sending me straight to the back. Worked my way back up to P4 which is where I finished. All in all, I’m pumped to finish 15th in the world after finishing in the high 30s two years ago!
