Back home after a vacation in Italy following the IFMAR worlds. The results weren’t what we wanted but I can’t thank everyone enough who is a part of my program. The amount of time and effort that goes into preparing for one of these races is insane. It is always a privilege to see not only your sponsors coming together to work as a team but also seeing all of the camaraderie and support from team USA is amazing. The amount of people that jumped in to help rebuild my car after the lcq was so so cool to see. Thanks to everyone who threw a hand in to help it was much appreciated.
We made progress all week long and come main time I knew it would be a tall order starting last but unfortunately could just never get going and lacked the pace we had in the semi and lcq. We will keep fighting! For now some time off to reset the mind and get the wrench room back in order.
