

We wanted to give everyone an update on The Drake Raceway!
The initial cost to cleanup and refresh the track is going to be expensive, but will be worth it in the end. We need help from the community to gather resources, sponsorship, and or volunteer help to make the process efficient.
Our purposed cost to clean up, repair, and purchase equipment for the racetrack is
estimated at over $25,000. (not including rent, utilities, and insurance)
Items needed for the track:
-MyLaps Scoring system and hardware.
-Sound system, speakers, microphones, ect. Thank you to Steve Burgess for all the help and support!
-Track renovations and build. Levi Jackson will be building and helping with all the dirt work.
-Equipment rental, mini excavator, loader, and skid steer.
-Dirt / clay for the track.
-Piping, stakes, tools for track.
-Paint and power washing.
-Computer, printer, and TVs for scoring and TV mounts.
-Cameras.
-Air compressor and air lines.
-12 Gage wire for sound system.
-Cover for pit area.
-Wind screens for fence.
-Wash Station, sink and faucets.
-Warmup and staging tables.
-Hoses and sprayers.
-Tools, brooms, shovels, hammers, and etc.
-Pit lane accessories.
-Banners and signage
-Matching chairs- bulk.
-Pumps.
-Cooler / refrigerator.
-Fencing
