The Silver State RC race in famous Las Vegas, Nevada, presented by Joey and The Dirt Racing crew is such an amazing event! I’m always so excited when this race comes around, and this year was no different! The vibe at the track is amazing, especially with the Team Associated crew!
An up and down weekend for me these west coast tracks aren’t exactly for the weak and racing was gnarly in the finals! Both truck’s and Ebuggy I had disappointing finals finishing P13. I was pretty bummed about how I drove making way too many mistakes and off pace. For the nitro buggy final I made some changes to the whip and mounted up some fresh JConcepts Inc #Blue #Falcons. Drove like a complete squid at the start of the main falling to dfl with the leaders not far from lapping me. Pulled it together and managed to have a 30-minute stint with no mistakes and worked my way back up to P5 where I’d finish! Super stoked on that run my #RC8b4.1 was so dialed! NitroPro fuel and servos were flawless all weekend and IELASI TUNED #Terra allowed me to go 9 minutes in the final!! A big thanks to Brent Thielke, Richard Saxton, Spencer Rivkin, and the whole Team Associated Team for the awesome teamwork and good vibes! Next up on the schedule is the Lonestar Challenge rc race race at Thornhill Racing Circuit!!
