Report from IFMAR WC 1/10 ELECTRIC OFF ROAD 2025

On my way back home from an amazing World Championship held at Hills Off Road RC. There whole team did a perfect job the entire time. They put in a very good layout that was very wasn’t too challenging but it made for some super close racing. Something that was hard to tell fron the camera was almost whole track was off camber which did add a layer of difficulty to the entire track especially in 2wd.

First off was the 2wd portion of the event. I’ve had success from the nationals held a year ago at the Hills, where I finished 3rd in 2wd. But as a team we struggled to keep up with the ever changing track conditions and made some mistakes on our judgement on setup and track conditions. I would finish 9th in the B main.

In the 4wd side of the event I felt much more confident right away. We corrected some of our mistakes from 2wd and we all seemed more confident in our setup changes as a team. This time we had 3 Xray cars in the main, Dakotah, David, and Myself. My main didn’t go the way I wanted finishing 10th. I had some bad luck and mistakes, but things like that can happen when you’re starting towards the back.

Overall was happy to make my first worlds Amain. Also huge congrats to Broc and Marcus for there impressive wins.
