Spencer Rivkin ROAR Nationals Driver Profile
The current National Champion and leader of the Nerd Is Cool revolution, he is also one of the young drivers challenging the limits of RC Racing and pushing his veteran competitors to their limits.
Spencer Rivkin the 2X 2wd Champion and 2X 8th scale National Champion goes into this year’s Nationals an enigma.
Rivkin has driven his Team AE/JConcepts ⅛th buggy to a respectable 4th at the DNC in Feb and 3rd at Silver State last month. The one blemish is the 16th place finish ar PNB due to a DNF.
Rivkin gets overlooked by many in 1/8th scale world, due to the fact that he seems to be more known as a 10th scale driver. He has proven he can do well in all conditions and can go back to back and win the 2021 ROAR Nationals.
Spencer has also been involved in a bit of on track altercations with competitors this year. Will we see the pressure of becoming a champion see levels of racing pushed to limits? Does Spencer go into the Race with a bullseye on his back or will he silently stun the Racing world?
