I'm an American living in Sweden. I've been into the hobby since I was 8 or 9 with my first RadioShack 2wd buggy that took 8 AA NiCd's! I thought that was the fastest thing around and I brought it to my daycare place to challenge one of the other kids who had a Nikko 4wd truck. That was the very beginning.

When I was 12 I convinced my dad to get me my first "real" RC car which was a Traxxas Nitro Rustler, diving straight into nitro without any other "real" experience. I put a few engines through that car and upgraded everything to aluminum/CFRp/Ti. Great car that I wish I never sold.

I have been racing since I was about 13, starting with HPI Micro RS4s 1/18th scale in the back of a local hobby shop. Moving to 1/10th gas trucks, 1/8th nitro buggy, 1/10th electric touring car and some Losi Mini-T racing back in the day.

Took some time off for school and life from age 19-31 but hoping to get back into racing now with 2wd buggy! Nitro buggy in the summer!?
