Jake Hopper
I spent my first three months trying to learn as much as possible asking questions reading online watching videos on YouTube and hitting the track 2-3 times a week trying to get as much practice in as possible before what what be a first time entering a race In June.
This hobby has been a huge learning experience taking every bit of off-road and motocross experience and applying it to 1/8 off-road racing has been a great time. My first 2 races had its ups and downs but I was able to show some good speed and skill but was still trying to figure out how to put it all together While making sure to stay out of the carnage and run a clean main.
After four months of Grinding out practice after practice learning my cars understanding setups that worked for me I was able to qualify 2nd and take home my first win in sportsmen E Truggy in my 3rd race at chicken dinner raceway for the in the dirt series.
