The car I used was a stealth car which Associated had been developing in secret. The existence of this car was not known in advance and was handed over from Mr. Cliff Lett on site.
Although the parts were not machine made but molded (mass-produced type), it was a very rare car which was not sold later and was hardly exposed to the media.

The 30 series tires and special shock springs brought by Yokomo matched the race track, and the Stealth Car was able to gain a further advantage, but the team, which was the biggest rival team, was in a battle for victory with Team Losi squad. It was fierce until the very end.

In the end, the Associated car and our team finished 1-2, and in the 2WD class, following the match against Australia, I won two tournaments in a row and won the world title for the fifth time in total.

The "ASSOCIATED RC10BX STEALTH" contributed to winning the 2WD class in the USA, that was said to be the most difficult to win, by scoring top finish in both the qualifying and the final.

使用したマシンは、アソシエイテッドが極秘で開発を進めていたステルスカーだった。このマシンの存在は事前にも知らされておらず、現地でクリフ・レット氏より手渡しされた。

パーツ類は削り出しではなく成型品（量産タイプ）であったにもかかわらず、後に販売されることもメディアに露出することも殆ど無かった、ごく稀な車となった。

ヨコモが持ち込んだ30シリーズと呼ばれるタイヤとスペシャル ダンパースプリングがサーキットにマッチし、ステルスカーは更にアドバンテージを得ることが出来たが、最大のライバルチームだったチーム ロッシ勢との優勝争いが最後の最後まで熾烈だった。

最終的にはアソシ チームの1-2フィニッシュとなり、2WDクラスではオーストラリア戦に続き、2大会連続優勝で通算5度目の世界タイトル獲得となった。

予選、決勝共にトップゴールし、最も難しいとされていたアメリカでの2WDクラス優勝に貢献してくれた
