My first Off Road World Championship was also held in England. This time, our biggest rival was local Team Schumacher, who had been indebted to me before.

The car which Yokomo brought in after repeated on-site tests in advance was equipped with an undercarriage that emphasized toughness and durability, with reinforced wheels and resin wings.

There were Yokomo tires brought in in large quantities to match the road surface, but I purposely used the tires provided by Proline, which had faster corner speeds.

In the final race, there was a scene where I fell back to the back due to my own crash, but I managed to overtake 9 cars in the final race, the first and last in my life, and finally finished in the top.

"YOKOMO SUPER DOGFIGHTER WORKS 93 Worlds Special" contributed to the 6th world title by scoring top finish in both the qualifying and the finals.

4WDクラスで最初に参加した世界選手権も同じイギリスでの開催だった。今回は以前お世話になった、地元チーム シュマッカーが最大のライバルチームとなった。

ヨコモが事前に現地テストを繰り返して持ち込んだ車は、強靭かつ耐久性を重視した足回りを備え、ホイルは強化タイプ、ウイングは樹脂製で徹底的に5分間しっかりと走れるマシンだった。

現地では大量に持ち込んだヨコモ製のタイヤで路面にマッチするモノもあったが、広坂はあえてコーナースピードが速かった、プロラインから提供されたタイヤを使用した。

決勝レースでは、自らのクラッシュで最後尾に後退する場面もあったが、最終的にはRC人生最初で最後の世界戦決勝9台抜きを果たして優勝した。

予選、決勝共にトップゴールし、6度目の世界一に貢献してくれた『YOKOMO SUPER DOGFIGHTER WORKS93 Worlds Special』。
