The second time of race commonly known as PRO10, which was newly started at IFMAR. 
At that time, this race had not yet penetrated Japan or other countries, especially in the Asian region, and I was the only Japanese participating from the Asian region.

During the short development period of about half a year, a car dedicated to World Championship was completed by repeating test runs in Germany in advance.

The tires we got from the Mr. Gandini brothers of Gandini Racing Products, the tire manufacturer we met at the race track, were the best match for the track surface. And the ESC was made by TEKIN.

For the body, we obtained a lightweight Protoform body, which had not yet been sold in Japan, locally, and the staff painted it on site.

The week before this race, the battle for victory with Team Corally's Mr. David Spashett, who won the 1/12th World Championship held in France, was tangled up to the final round, but I was able to get the 8th World title.

The "YOKOMO YRX-10 worlds special" scored top finish in both the qualifying and the finals, contributing to winning all 4 categories in which I participated.

IFMARで新しくスタートした、通称プロ10と呼ばれていた種目の第2回目の大会。この種目は、当時日本も他の国にも、特にアジア地区にはまだ浸透しておらず、アジア地区から日本人ただ一人での参加だった。

約半年間ほどの短い開発期間の中、事前に現地ドイツでのテスト走行などを繰り返して仕上げた世界選手権専用のマシン。
現地で出会ったタイヤメーカー、Gandini Racing Products (GRP) のガンディニ兄弟から入手したタイヤが路面にベストマッチした。

ESCはTEKIN製、モーターはリーディ、ボディは日本ではまだ販売されていなかったプロトフォームの軽量ボディを現地で入手し、現場でスタッフが塗装してくれた。

このレースの前の週、フランスで開催された1/12の世界選手権で優勝した、チームコラリーのデビッド・スパシェット選手との優勝争いが決勝の最終ラウンドまでもつれたが、世界戦7勝目を手にすることが出来た。

予選、決勝共にトップゴールし、出場している全4種目の優勝に貢献してくれた『YOKOMO YRX-10 worlds car』
