Another full score in Falköping!
This was the first time this track was included in the cup. There have been standalone summer races here before. Last time I won comfortably so I had a good feeling coming into this one.
The weather was great, around 25, maybe more and blue skies. But the track hold up great without to much dust in the air. They watered the track twice and that really hold it together nicely.
This time I had no problems with the car at all, except I broke one servo arm but because I have two servos I never even noticed this. I saw it first after the heat when I inspected the car. I switched it out and that was that.
There is not much to write about each heat as it went really well, starting on pole in each heat and then holding on to the lead for the whole race. I did not manage to get the fastest lap this time but my average lap time was over 2 seconds lower than the second place in the final which ended up being 4 laps more over 20 minutes.
This means another 200 points to the total which is good as I'll miss one race and can't afford any more drop races. I need to deliver on each race. With a full score in the two opening races it gives me some breathing room if it won't go as effortless in future races.
As usual my Ultron was handling the challenging track superior, got comments from people that it jumps as a 2wd car. The RN Tuning 295 with the Powergrip clutch gave me plenty of power and control. Now it's 4 more weeks until the next race in Nyköping. A fun little detail is that all races I will go to this year is in a place that ends with "köping". We have a lot of those places in Sweden :)
