The Ultron build continues with the new tank, which is bigger than the old one as well as having a better lid and designed to work with the new pipe, which we will look at in a later stage. The tank is easily secured with four screws to the chassis.

The center diff mount consists of two towers that hav breaking pads mounted to them. A hinge pin with a lever works to push the pads against the braking disc.

The new ball drive system with three balls in each end makes the drivetrain more consistent, lower friction and doesn't wear as much. Drivers have reported almost zero wear after a whole season!
We will grease the cups and put boots on later, this is crucial to get that zero wear and low friction in the drive train.

We really like how the differentials are so easy to just swap in and out on the Ultron, four screws and you're done. The car should not just handle good, it should also be easily worked on and efficient on the workbench. Changing diffs could now be something we actually do during a race day.

The swaybars or rollbars (correct should be anti-rollbars), depends who you ask, are really nicely thought out as well. Mounted with two ball bearing makes sure they work as intended without any friction that prevents them from working in full effect. It should be the bar who transfers the energy, not friction in the mounting. We might need to adjust the length of the rods to not get the bars to touch the outgoing drive axles. The Ultron has such a big movements on the arms that you need to make sure it has a lot of space to move freely.

Next on we will continue with electronics components, battery and receiver box and servos.
